Daftar Game Resident Evil dari Tahun ke Tahun

Resident Evil merupakan sebuah franchise seri video game populer yang dikembangkan oleh Capcom. Zombie merupakan tema yang diangkat pada game game ini. Resident Evil pertama dirilis pada tahun 1996 pada konsol game PS1. Sejak itu, sudah ada puluhan game kelanjutan Resident Evil yang dirilis di berbagai konsol, mulai dari PlayStation, Xbox, Wii hingga PC. Dalam plot cerita, dikisahkan bahwa Umbrella Corporation merupakan organisasi yang bertanggung jawab pada invasi zombie karena adanya T-virus yang mereka produksi. Akibatnya seluruh dunia dipenuhi oleh wabah zombie dan kita sebagai player harus mengalahkan zombie-zombie tersebut, tergantung pada plot cerita di tiap seri game.

Selain menghadirkan genre survival horror, game ini juga hadir dalam berbagai genre lain, seperti game action-adventure, third-person shooter dan light gun shooter. Selain itu di tiap game biasanya terdapat puzzle yang harus diselesaikan. Resident Evil 4 mungkin menjadi seri game tersukses dan salah satu yang paling populer.
